Project Finch
You built it with AI. Now run your vibe-coded app on your PC.
Finch turns the web app you vibe-coded into a program that lives on your own computer. Save on AI tokens — your app runs without burning credits. It runs faster, because nothing travels over the internet — no cloud. Your data stays in your house. And there is no monthly bill.

tokens — still full
Every use burns credits on Cloud AI. On your PC, the meter never moves.
Pillar two
Your PC runs faster
Cloud AI
Your app with Finch
Your PC runs faster — no round trip across the internet.
Never programmed before?*
You're exactly who this is for.
Finch runs your applications directly on your PC, not on the cloud. Move it onto your computer in a couple of clicks — runs faster, saves you money, saves you AI tokens. No code, no learning curve.
* Detailed hooks for advanced users provided as well — see the advanced section below.
Why
Your app shouldn't live on somebody else's computer.
Right now your app rents space on the internet. That gives you three problems you can feel.
Rented
Right now your app rents space on the internet and costs you AI tokens to use. Every time. Every fix in the cloud can cost you another round of AI credits — you've watched the meter run just to fix a button. That's money out of your pocket, every month, for your own work. On your PC, your app costs nothing, forever. Stop burning credits on AI builders. Stop paying for tokens. Run it locally and save on tokens instead.
Slow
Every click travels across the internet and back. You wait — and while you wait, the meter keeps running. And the server you're renting splits its power across hundreds of users — your PC gives your app the whole machine. Slow costs you twice: your time, and your tokens.
Exposed
Your data sits on servers you don't control, in somebody else's hands.
What it does
Your app, on your machine. That is the whole idea.
Finch turns your PC into a web host for your own apps — it moves your app onto your computer. No cloud: it runs there, your information stays there. It opens in a window on your screen, like any other program. And because it's local, it runs faster — no AI expense, no token use: your app just runs.
How it works

Why it feels different
Your computer does the work.
Most apps rent space on somebody else's computer. Yours does not have to.
Fast
Your app runs on your own machine, so there is no waiting on the internet. It responds the instant you click.
Private
Your data never leaves your machine. Nothing is sent to us, and nothing is tracked. What is yours stays yours.
Yours
No account to create. No subscription to keep paying — end the subscription fatigue. You buy Finch once, and it is yours: no vendor lock-in. Local-first software — your app and your data live on your machine, not on somebody else's server.
Simple
No code to write. No tools to learn. No Next → Next → Finish installer wizard — one click and it's a program. If you can build with AI, you can run it with Finch.
Who it's for
Built for vibe coders like you.
Never programmed before? You're exactly who this is for.
Finch is for you if…
- You build with AI and want your app running on your own computer — without learning any new tools.
- You build small tools or client projects that need to run without the internet.
- You have a working web app and do not want to pay a monthly service to turn it into software.
- You're paying monthly hosting for a side project — stop renting, own it.
- You want to demo your app to a client or share it with someone, without paying for hosting.
Finch is not for…
- Teams that need Mac or Linux builds today. Finch is Windows first.
- Developers who already package with Tauri or Electron and like it. Finch is for skipping that work, not replacing your pipeline.
AI agents
Built an AI agent? Run it on your PC.
Finch lets you run AI agents without the setup. Package your agent once and it becomes a desktop AI agent, one-click install — it opens in its own window on your Windows PC, with no server to configure and no cloud account to keep feeding. Keep it for yourself, or hand it to a client: your agent runs where you run it.
Pricing
Buy once, own it forever.
- The Finch runtime, lifetime license — the lifetime deal: $49 once, yours forever
- 30-day money-back guarantee

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is this Windows only?
Yes, for now. Finch runs on Windows PCs — the server, the database, and the browser display all live on your machine. Mac and Linux are on the roadmap.
Windows showed a security warning — is this safe?
This installer is signed, but Windows may still show a warning because it's new. Click "More info" — you'll see the publisher name, proving it's signed. Then click "Run anyway." The warning goes away as more people install it.
Does Finch spy on me, or send my data anywhere?
No. Everything runs on your own computer. Finch never calls our servers, never tracks you, and never sends your data anywhere. The only exception: when you check for updates.
What AI builders does it work with?
Finch works with Lovable, Bolt, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and Muse. If your app runs in a browser, Finch can package it.
Isn't this just Electron?
No. Electron apps are heavy, and developers have to learn the whole framework to use it. Finch is the lightweight Electron alternative for vibe coders — you don't learn packaging at all. It's also lighter: Finch doesn't bundle a whole Chromium with every app; yours opens in a window using the browser already on your PC.
Do I need an account? Is there a signup?
No signup, no login. You buy it, download it, and it runs. Your license key activates Finch on your PC — that's the whole relationship.
Can I install Finch on more than one computer?
One license, one machine. Each Finch license activates on a single PC — one install per machine. Need it on another computer? That's another license. Want to distribute your packaged app to other machines? Email finch@verbaia.com for pricing.
I built an app with AI — now what?
If your AI runs in a browser, point Finch at it. Finch turns it into a Windows program on your PC. No deploy step, no hosting to buy. (Works with Lovable, Bolt, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and Muse.)
Does my app work offline once it's packaged?
Yes. Once Finch packages your app, it runs on your PC with no internet required — offline, on a plane, at a client site with no Wi-Fi.
Will this replace my hosting bill?
That's the point. No monthly hosting, no per-use fees, no per-app fees — stop paying monthly for app hosting. One purchase covers the runtime for life.
Is there a credit meter?
No. No credit meter, no per-use charges, no API costs, run it locally: once Finch packages your app, it runs on your own PC and the meter stops. One purchase covers the runtime for life.
Can Finch run AI agents?
Yes. If your agent runs in a browser, Finch can package it — run AI agents without the setup, as a desktop AI agent, one-click install on your Windows PC.
How can I run my Lovable app locally?
To run lovable app locally, export the code from Lovable, point Finch at the exported folder, and click Package. Finch turns it into a Windows program that lives on your PC — no hosting, no deploy step. The same export-and-package flow works for v0 and Bolt projects.
What if I'm not technical?
That is the point. You do not write packaging code, configure build tools, or learn a framework. If you can build an app with your AI, you can run it with Finch.
What do I need on my PC?
A Windows PC is all you need. Finch handles the rest.
How do updates work?
When a new Finch version comes out, download it and re-run it on your app. Your app's data carries over.
For advanced users
Under the hood.
Finch is simple on the surface. Underneath it is a real local runtime. This section is for developers who want the details — everything the one-button installer does is scriptable here.
Prefer the command line?
Full technical control: command-line flags, config files, and the under-the-hood details are all here — no clicking required.
Package from the command line
Prefer scripts to clicking? The packager takes flags: --name, --out, --port, --client-dist, --server-src, --data-dir, --extras, --app-version, --runtime. Or put it all in a JSON file with --config — flags win over the file.
Extend it
Server actions live in actions.ts, your database shape in schema.ts. Everything configurable goes through FINCH_* settings (FINCH_APP_NAME, FINCH_PORT, FINCH_DATA_DIR, FINCH_DB_PATH, FINCH_CLIENT_DIST). Optional extras download and verify from a manifest.
The runtime
A Bun server bound to your own machine only, with token auth. SQLite with write-ahead logging for your data. Live updates over server-sent events. A Chrome app-mode launcher, single-instance, your data in its own folder. Tries up to 10 ports from your preferred one.
Your data, your file
App data lives in a plain SQLite file on your PC — back it up, move it, it is yours. The auth token is generated at first setup and is never baked into packages.
The developer path — the same packaging the one-click UI runs for you.
Licensing
One user, one machine, one license.
A standard Finch license covers running packaged apps on the licensed machine. One install per machine — each license activates Finch on a single computer. If you want to distribute an app to other machines, email finch@verbaia.com for pricing.
The fine print
